At their December meeting, the Polk County Board of Education made a small change to the 2020-2021 school calendar. Polk County Schools will return from the Holiday Break on January 4, 2021.
In previous calendars January 4th was identified as Student Day where teachers had been asked to discuss Remote Learning. Labeling this as a Remote Learning day was causing confusion.
Monday January 4, 2021 is now clearly identified as a regular school day for students.
