Creating a Focused and Connected Learning Environment

Polk County Schools is committed to supporting students’ academic success and well-being by fostering a focused, safe, and connected learning environment. Beginning October 20, Polk County High School and Polk County Early College will implement the Yondr Pouch Program, a simple tool that helps students stay engaged in learning and present with their peers. By storing phones securely during the school day, we can reduce distractions, strengthen relationships, and ensure that classrooms remain places for meaningful learning and connection.
