Polk County Middle School celebrates National Teacher Appreciation Week May 3-7. Please join us in saying “Thank You” to our wonderful educators who love all our students and work tirelessly to help them be successful.
This year has offered challenges to us all, but especially our teachers who have taught remotely as well as in-person. Switching between the two modalities to best accommodate each learners needs means increased hours spent in planning, Zoom sessions, and scheduling one-on-one appointments. Regardless of what needed to be done, teachers rose to the challenge, put student needs first, and persevered through this strenuous time. While they deserve our thanks everyday, this week, we take a moment in time to express our gratitude for a job always well done!
If you would like to show your support for our teachers, feel free to send them a quick email or note. We know those valued words mean the world to them!
