About NCStar / Indistar
NCStar is an online tool used by North Carolina schools to develop, monitor, and share School Improvement Plans. Through the Indistar platform, school teams document goals, strategies, and progress toward continuous improvement.
In accordance with state requirements, public access to our School Improvement Plan is provided below.
How to Access the School Improvement Plan
Follow the steps below to view the Polk County Middle School Improvement Plan through the NCStar / Indistar system.

Go to the NCStar / Indistar login page:
https://www.indistar.org - Enter the Guest username and password shown in the access information box.
- Click Login to open the plan.

What You Can View
These items may be available depending on how the School Improvement Team has chosen to share information within NCStar.
- Current School Improvement Plan goals and action steps
- Progress updates recorded by the school leadership team
- Meeting notes or evidence attached to indicators (when available)
- Plan review dates and revision history
