Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year!
Dear Polk Central Elementary Families, Students, and Community,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I am honored and excited to begin another incredible
year at Polk Central Elementary. Whether you are returning to our Rocket family or joining us for
the first time, we are thrilled to have you with us.
A new school year brings new opportunities, fresh beginnings, and endless possibilities. Our
dedicated staff has been working hard to prepare engaging classrooms, meaningful learning
experiences, and a welcoming environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to
succeed.
This year, our focus extends beyond academics. We are committed to helping every student
grow as a learner, a leader, and a person of strong character. We believe that the greatest
learning happens when students are challenged, encouraged, and supported by caring
educators and families working together.
At Polk Central Elementary, the support of our parents, families, and community plays an
essential role in the success of our students. Thank you for your trust, encouragement, and
commitment to our school. Together, we will continue to build a positive school culture where
every child has the opportunity to thrive.
As Rockets, we are ready to aim high, work hard, and support one another every step of the
way. I cannot wait to see the amazing growth our students will make throughout the year.
With Rocket Pride,
Adam Giles
Principal
