Polk County High celebrates holidays with Christmas Spirit Week

In the days prior to the holiday break, Polk County High School’s FFA sponsored a Christmas Spirit Week.

The themes contributing to Spirit Week were:

  • Monday, “Long Winter’s Nap,” Christmas Pajamas
  • Tuesday, “Santa and his Helpers,”  Christmas Character
  • Wednesday, “Winter Wonderland,”  Whiteout Apparel
  • Thursday, “Baby it’s Cold Outside,” Ugly Christmas Sweaters
  • Friday, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” Christmas Colors and Accessories.

Also in the spirit of Christmas, PCHS Student Council invited advocates to participate in a door decorating contest. Advocates decorated their door in a Christmas theme and the student council voted on the best door.

Honorable mentions for having the best looking doors went to Polly Kennedy, Jennifer Huskey and Billy Alm.

The winner of the best looking door went to Brittany Gilbert!
