Principal Paws

First grade student, Avery Mintz, earned 150 points in class and was rewarded by dining with Saluda School Principal, Cari Maneen.
Avery invited her classmate, Paisley Brown, to join the luncheon. When asked what Avery had to do to earn the points, she replied, “Hard work, social distancing, not giving up, using good manners, and being kind.”   “I am so proud of Avery for her hard work and perseverance. I was overjoyed when I found out she chose to spend her points to have lunch with me. What an honor!” After lunch, Dr. Maneen rewarded Avery with the highest Saluda School honor: The “Principal Paw.”
