The students in Mrs. Rackley’s 5th grade classroom are learning about Matter. An activity they did this week was investigate something called, “Monster Muck.” Students had to figure out if this substance was a solid or a liquid based on what they had learned about the different states of matter. The students learned that it was a colloid, which means it is both a liquid and a solid.
