On Wednesday, May 31st, Saluda Elementary students in first and second grade traveled to the Saluda Community Garden where Mr. Walter Hoover taught students about gardening and composting.
Next, students traveled to the Historic Johnson Farm. Here the students got a tour of the farmhouse and animals. Students also engaged in numerous hands-on activities and participated in a nature scavenger hunt.
The trip was educational, engaging, and most of all fun!
