Saluda Elementary students enjoyed having Veterans on campus Thursday. Local veterans with connections to the school: Mitch Harrower, Todd Fletcher and Michael Meissner, visited classrooms to read to students and answer questions. In honor of Veterans Day, students wrote thank you letters and wore red, white and blue.

Saluda Elementary’s Kindergarten and First Grade classes enjoyed a field trip to Strawberry Hill for Halloween. They learned about farming, the life cycle of a pumpkin, enjoyed a hayride and played on the giant slides!
