The Sunny View Elementary Chorus brought the spirit of the season to LaurelHurst, a senior living community in Columbus, with a festive concert of holiday favorites.
Under the direction of Lacey Cochran, the chorus performed a 30-minute program featuring songs in multiple languages, including Hebrew, Latin, Spanish and the German rendition of “Silent Night” (“Stille Nacht”). The multilingual repertoire showcased the students’ dedication and added a global touch to the holiday celebration.
Following the performance, the students spent time visiting with LaurelHurst residents, fostering connections between the generations. The event offered a heartwarming opportunity for youth and seniors in Polk County to come together and share the joy of the season.
