Advanced Learners at Tryon Elementary School recently stepped away from their usual academic routines to engage in a variety of dynamic activities designed to challenge their skills and foster creativity.
Fifth-grade students participated in lively rounds of the strategic card game Exploding Kittens, sharpening their critical thinking and decision-making abilities in a fun and engaging way. Fourth graders embraced the challenges of Beast Academy, an interactive learning program that encourages problem-solving through advanced math concepts and puzzles.
Meanwhile, third-grade Advanced Learners launched a hands-on project aimed at enhancing the school grounds to support birds and other wildlife. The initiative combines environmental stewardship with practical learning, allowing students to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges.
The program for Advanced Learners at Tryon Elementary School emphasizes opportunities for students to meet their full potential through a blend of academic rigor and creative exploration.
