Polk County Board of Education member Rob Parsons and a group of volunteers recently cleared the path in Little Park in Saluda.
The path is one that students at Saluda Elementary School often use as Little Park sits adjacent to the school playground.
Numerous trees fell on the path as Hurricane Helene impacted the area. The group cleared those trees from the path, and kindergarten and fifth grade students have already made been to the park to again enjoy a walk through nature.
