Polk Central connects families with community resources at Open House

Polk Central Elementary School recently hosted a Fall Open House, bringing together families, teachers and community organizations to celebrate student learning and connect families with local resources.

The event featured resource tables where teachers showcased the learning happening in classrooms so far this school year. Several local organizations also participated, sharing information about their services, resources and upcoming events designed to support students and families.

The open house provided opportunities for families to engage with teachers, learn about classroom activities and discover community resources available to support student success.

The event reflects the school’s commitment to building strong partnerships between families, the school and community organizations. By connecting families with local resources in one central location, the open house helped strengthen the support network available to Polk Central students.
