Wilson’s behind-the-scenes service helps Sunny View run each day

Angela Wilson’s official title at Sunny View Elementary School is secretary/data manager.

According to principal Ronette Dill, that title captures only part of what Wilson contributes to the school each day.

Wilson helps keep the school organized, assists employees, handles problems as they arise and regularly steps in wherever she is needed.

“She wears so many hats that it would be hard to list every responsibility that she takes on for our school,” Dill said.

Even on busy days, Dill said, Wilson remains positive, kind and willing to help. Her role also puts her in frequent contact with families and visitors, giving her an opportunity to help create a welcoming atmosphere at Sunny View.

“She has a way of making all of our families and guests feel welcomed and cared for,” Dill said.

But Dill said Wilson’s greatest impact may be seen in the relationships she has built with students.

“She genuinely loves and cares for the children at Sunny View,” Dill said. “She knows the kids, notices when something is wrong, celebrates them, comforts them and makes sure they know that they are loved.”

Much of Wilson’s work happens quietly, behind the scenes, but Dill said those daily contributions are an important part of keeping Sunny View running smoothly.

“There are countless things that she takes care of behind the scenes that help keep our school running each day,” Dill said.
